Hightower Water Treatment Facility has a treatment capacity of 5.5 MGD. Water is pumped from the Etowah River and treated using conventional treatment process. The facility is operated 24 hours every day of the year. This facility has won numerous awards from the Georgia Association of Water Professionals, including Plant of the Year.
